Dome of Visions Copenhagen

The first Dome of Visions by architects Benny Jepsen and Kristoffer Tejlgaard build next to the Royal Danish Library. This geodesic dome was built to promote new ideas in construction and urban thinking as well as a consideration for a sustainable society of the future. Dome of Visions was used as an event centre for cultural events and open meeting place for the public. The temporary building was put down at the end of 2015. Currently, new geodesic domes are constructed for a period of time in collaboration with NCC and introduced to citizens all over the Nordic countries e.g. Aarhus, Stockholm, Visby and Helsinki.

A view of a part of rooftops in the city centre of Helsinki, Finland. This is the view from the roof of Lasiplatsi, one of most notable functionalist buildings of the city. The backside of the signage lighting belongs to a restaurant in the constructed dwelling. Moreover, it shows a look towards one of the properties of the Student Union of the University of Helsinki, also the Stockmann department store and corner of the Forum shopping mall.
