Dome of Visions Copenhagen

The first Dome of Visions by architects Benny Jepsen and Kristoffer Tejlgaard build next to the Royal Danish Library. This geodesic dome was built to promote new ideas in construction and urban thinking as well as a consideration for a sustainable society of the future. Dome of Visions was used as an event centre for cultural events and open meeting place for the public. The temporary building was put down at the end of 2015. Currently, new geodesic domes are constructed for a period of time in collaboration with NCC and introduced to citizens all over the Nordic countries e.g. Aarhus, Stockholm, Visby and Helsinki.

Aarhus Docklands

Coming from the sea to Aarhus reveals newly established district Aarhus Docklands (2007) which is located in the harbour area. The construction site started developing new residential buildings the very same year it was founded. One of the first buildings finalised is the ISBJERGET residential living complex (2013) designed and developed by four architectural firms, the Danish CEBRA and JDS Architects, French Louis Paillard and Dutch SeARCH. The building especially attracts attention as to its shape, form and colour, standing much out from any other residential building in the world.

Irregular shape

The architecture of Isbjerget is unusual and each of the building blocks seems irregular in its shape, just like floating icebergs.
